HOSTEL FACILITIES

The College has at present one Girl's Hostel within the campus and, Two other rented Girl's Hostel & Two Boy's Hostel. Hostel seats are very limited and allotted strictly on merit basis. Students can apply for Hostel seats immediately after taking admission to the College.

LIBRARY

Students may borrow books form the College Library against the Library Card. The Library stocks not only sufficient numbers of books, magazines and journals, but also has a peaceful environment for study. Moreover rare Reference Books, Leading Newspapers and Journals are also available. Steps have also been taken to equip the Library with modern facilities like Computer Despatching system and Computer cataloguing.

SCHOLARSHIP

Students are awarded both merit and other scholarships as per Govt. of Assam rules.

INCENTIVES AND AWARDS

a) For students who are meritorious but economically weak the College has a special provision of fees relaxation during the time of study in the College.

b) A student who secured 70% or more marks in aggregate in his/her Final Examination is awarded a cash prize of Rs.1000/- (Rupees one thousand only).

c) A student of TDC who secures the highest aggregate marks with distinction in the TDC part-II Final Examination is declared the Best Graduate of the year with special prizes, both in cash and kind.

STUDENT'S UNION

The Dimoria College Student's Union (D.C.S.U.) is the General Body of the students of the College. Its membership is compulsory for every Dimorian. Office bearers are elected annually as per the constitution of the Student's Union. A student who does not have 65% of attendance in the class on the date of submission of nomination papers for the post of Office bearer of D.C.S.U. will not be eligible the election.

STUDENTS AID FUND

The College has a student's Aid Fund to help the meritorious but economically weak of the College.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The College has a Book Bank for helping the desiring students with textbooks and Reference Books.
